For a particular work, I was searching for a open source database which has the qualities like scalability, easy to learn, available tools for development, maximum concurrent users or load handling capabilities, usage of Objects etc.
My results show the rating as
1. Postgres
2. MySQL
3. SQL Lite
It is simply great to work with Postgres and it is a real elephant among open source databases.
